A Wearable art Project
Net-Work is a project born from what gets left behind.
Bird netting, construction tape, black plastic containers, inner bike tubes, silver tent fabric, painter's plastic — materials pulled from worksites, gardens and building sites, each one discarded before its life was truly over.
In this work, the objects are collected, transformed and worn. The netting becomes structure. The tape becomes pattern. The plastic becomes light. Nothing is wasted. Everything is reconsidered.
The project takes its name from the material at its centre and from something larger: the invisible web that connects us to what we consume, what we discard, and what we owe back to the world. To make from what remains is to honour that connection.
Net-Work is about creativity without excess, beauty without extraction — and the quiet power of looking at the ordinary world and seeing something worth wearing.
